The Wailer 106 is an all-mountain classic. DPS has worked hard in the lab and on-mountain to fine-tune optimum geometric ratios for sidecut and flex pattern, and the 106 reflects the most current blend of smoothness, balance, and power; in an all-mountain, everyday shape designed for mixed snow conditions. This is a more directional version of the popular, best-in-class Wailer 112. For the skier who prefers a more rounded and full turn, primarily from the flatter tail and different sidecut, the Wailer 106 is for you. The Wailer 106 has a more traditional shape than the 112 and is better suited to skiers who prefer more directional performance. It is also quicker edge to edge than the 112 and is perfectly at home or at the ski resort.
Jeff Dostie, hardgoods buyer at Alpenglow: "From ripping around the resort to carving perfect turns in the backcountry, this ski has a modern classic quality that is hard to match."
